Riyadh Airport Flights Remain Cancelled Following Yemeni Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data from the aviation analytics firm Cirium indicates that over 99 percent of flights scheduled for yesterday at Riyadh Airport were cancelled. Reports also suggest that approximately 60 percent of Monday’s flights are expected to be canceled as well.
Flightradar24 had previously reported that King Khalid Airport in Riyadh would remain closed for an additional 24 hours. This decision was made in the wake of successful attacks by Yemeni armed forces against Saudi airports, particularly King Khalid Airport.
Saudi Arabia stated that the attack on the airport resulted in 13 fatalities and 309 injuries. The Yemeni armed forces’ actions against Saudi Arabia are presented as a response to the kingdom’s aggression against various Yemeni provinces and the killing of civilians.
Additionally, it was reported yesterday that the passenger terminal four at King Khalid Airport was targeted and caught fire.
