Yemen Warns of Extensive Military Operations, Threatens Saudi Capital

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Abdullah Al-Farah, the Al Mayadeen network’s bureau chief in Sana’a, has stated that Yemen‘s warnings regarding the insecurity of Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, indicate the likelihood of extensive and unprecedented military operations by Yemeni forces in the near future.
He elaborated that Yemen’s current warnings are focused on the oil and investment sectors, as well as the movement of Saudi aircraft, suggesting that the country aims to shift the burden of conflict with the Saudi adversary deep within its territory, rather than confining engagements solely to Yemen. Riyadh is likely to become the primary focus of these confrontations.
Al-Farah further explained that the Yemeni armed forces are seeking to exert military and economic pressure on Saudi Arabia through dozens of operations launched from within Yemen, utilizing missile and drone systems. The focus on Riyadh, coupled with ongoing military operations both inside and outside Yemen, demonstrates Sana’a’s capability for a prolonged conflict.
Last night, a Yemeni military source informed the Saba News Agency that international airlines are being cautioned against using Saudi airspace, as it is considered unsafe with the exception of the airspace around Mecca and Medina.
