Bernie Sanders Criticizes Trump’s Support for Netanyahu, Cites Endless War
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, United States Senator Bernie Sanders has voiced strong opposition to former President Donald Trump’s recent support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Sanders, a prominent figure in American politics, took to social media to express his disapproval, stating that Trump’s endorsement was unsurprising. He asserted that both Trump and Netanyahu are proponents of an “endless war” in the Middle East, predicting increased casualties, greater destruction, and more instances of genocide.
The senator further elaborated on his stance by calling for an end to Republican leadership in the US Congress. Additionally, Sanders advocated for the cessation of all military assistance provided to the Israeli regime.
These statements from the American senator come in the wake of Trump’s public declaration of support for Netanyahu. Trump announced his backing for the Israeli Prime Minister on Sunday, shortly before the scheduled Israeli elections on October 27th.
