Israeli Forces Launch Raids in Southern Syria, Damaged Areas Reported

Israeli military vehicles and tanks have reportedly entered several areas in the northern Quneitra province of southern Syria, prompting condemnation from Damascus regarding violations of sovereignty.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli soldiers infiltrated areas in the northern Quneitra province of southern Syria on Tuesday with seven military vehicles and two tanks. Syrian media reported that Israeli soldiers took positions in front of the old Quneitra Governorate building in the city of Al-Salameh. Additionally, two Israeli tanks advanced into the Tel Al-Hawai region, west of the town of Jabata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra province.

The Israeli army also entered the village of Tarinje in northern Quneitra province the previous night, conducting searches of a house amid the firing of flares in the sky over the region. These incursions come days after Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned a recent escalation of Israeli military raids in Quneitra province and surrounding areas of Daraa province. The ministry emphasized that these actions constitute a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and compel Tel Aviv to adhere to international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
