US Senate Candidate: Israel Not Our Ally, War With Iran Should Have Been Avoided

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Muslim candidate for the U.S. Senate, Abd Al-Sayed, stated in an interview with ABC News that a regime which uses American money to enter wars it should not be part of cannot be considered an American ally.
He likened the relationship between the U.S. and the Israeli regime to a friend who takes money from your child, speaks ill of them behind their back, and instigates conflicts with others. Al-Sayed emphasized that it is time for the U.S. to recognize that Israel is not its true friend.
Al-Sayed further asserted that the United States should not have withdrawn from the Iran nuclear deal. He argued that the U.S. was in a position to contain Iran’s nuclear program and was on a path to peace, and that the conflict should have been avoided from the outset.
It is noteworthy that Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sayed won the Democratic Party’s primary election for a U.S. Senate seat in the state of Michigan. NBC reported that despite tens of millions of dollars spent by pro-Israel groups in the election campaign, he managed to defeat his opponent.
