Israeli President Avoids Displaying Flag During Hungary Visit Amid Protests

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
Israeli President Isaac Herzog refrained from displaying the Israeli flag during his trip to Hungary, an action taken in response to widespread protests against what demonstrators termed Israeli crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip. The report, citing the Palestinian ‘Shehab’ news agency, indicates Herzog’s decision was aimed at preventing confrontations between protesters and his convoy.
This incident occurs as the Israeli regime has reportedly faced significant setbacks in achieving its objectives since commencing operations on October 7, 2023, including the dismantling of the resistance movement and the return of captives. Despite official agreements for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire announced by Hamas and the Israeli military, efforts to establish stability continue to face serious challenges.
The aggressive actions by the Israeli regime, supported directly by the United States, have led to widespread Palestinian casualties, with over 250,000 individuals killed or injured and nearly all infrastructure in the Gaza Strip devastated. The United Nations estimates the cost of rebuilding the damage in Gaza to be around $70 billion.
