Oil Prices Surge Amid Trump Threats and Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, global oil prices saw a sudden surge on Friday, with Brent crude climbing approximately 4% to $117.30 per barrel. Concurrently, West Texas Intermediate crude reached $103.57 per barrel.
Analysts attribute this upward trend primarily to recent threats issued by Donald Trump against Iran, alongside the intensification of regional conflicts. These include recent attacks on Saudi Arabian infrastructure, which have heightened market concerns.
In response to the increased tensions, Saudi Aramco, the Kingdom’s major oil company, has reportedly ordered the evacuation of its offices in Dhahran.
This price increase occurs amid heightened maritime tensions and attacks on strategic targets within Saudi Arabia, significantly amplifying global concerns regarding the security of energy supply and oil transit chains.
