Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Berlin and other German cities to protest against the escalating cost of living and the potential reintroduction of mandatory military service, demanding government action to address economic pressures and support for social and educational sectors.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, thousands of protesters in Berlin rallied against the high cost of living and the possibility of reinstating mandatory military service. Police reported approximately 5,000 people assembled in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin as part of a nationwide series of demonstrations organized by a group calling itself ‘Generation Z Decides’.

Participants called for an end to budget cuts in social and educational sectors, demanded practical measures to combat rising living expenses, and voiced their opposition to the potential return of compulsory military conscription. Al Arabiya reported that thousands across Germany participated in these protests, which were part of a youth-led movement inspired by similar actions in other European countries.
