The United Arab Emirates-based Etihad Airways announced that the suspension of its flight routes between Abu Dhabi and the Saudi cities of Dammam and Riyadh has been extended through November 19 of this year, driven by persistent volatile conditions in the region.
In an official statement, the carrier clarified that this directive applies to all scheduled cargo and passenger services operating on the Abu Dhabi-Dammam and Abu Dhabi-Riyadh corridors, ensuring that these flights will remain grounded until the specified date.
Conversely, Etihad confirmed the resumption of selective flight operations along the route linking Abu Dhabi to Jeddah starting Friday, November 6.
Highlighting the continued unpredictability of the current situation, the airline warned that further modifications to the flight schedule remain a possibility. Consequently, passengers have been strongly advised to verify their flight status via the company’s official website prior to heading to the airport.
