Haniyeh arrived in Türkiye to meet Erdogan
The Hamas movement announced in a statement that Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, arrived in Istanbul. |
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political office, is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this Saturday. The two sides will discuss Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Erdogan previously accused Israel of trying to create a regional conflict in the West Asia. He also emphasized that this country will be held accountable to the law for the crimes against humanity it has committed.
Planning for this trip is being done a week after the Zionist attacks on the Haniyeh family in Gaza, during which 3 children and 4 grandchildren of the head of the political bureau of Hamas died.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is one of the staunch critics of the Zionist regime, confirmed this news and announced that Ankara will host the leaders of Palestinian groups at the end of the week and meet with them.
The war in Gaza and the settlement of internal disputes between Palestinian groups are among the issues that are expected to be discussed in this meeting.
