The war in Gaza is the most dangerous conflict for journalists since 1992

The Committee to Protect Journalists considers the current war of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip to be the most dangerous conflict for journalists in the last 32 years.

The Committee to Protect Journalists confirmed on Saturday that the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip is the most dangerous conflict for journalists since 1992.

According to al-Mayadeen report, the occupations have targeted Palestinian journalists, their shelters and the headquarters of media channels in the Gaza Strip, and the number of journalist martyrs has increased to 140.

On March 31, the occupiers massacred journalists and refugees inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central part of Gaza by bombing them, and before that they targeted the site of Al-Mayadeen TV team in Rafah.

Journalists in Gaza are also under arrest, because the occupiers imprisoned a number of press workers of al-Shifa Medical Complex and after abusing them, transferred them to an unknown destination.

On February 13, Nasser Abu Bakr, head of the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, confirmed that the Israeli regime killed 10 percent of Gaza’s journalists in order to prevent the world from reporting the truth about what is happening in the Gaza Strip.

The Minister of International Cooperation of Qatar, Lulu Al-Khater, recently expressed his regret for the actions of the Israeli military in targeting journalists and said: Israel has set a record in targeting journalists and killing them.
