More than 20 Palestinians drowned while taking out aid boxes from the sea

According to Gaza health authorities, more than 20 Palestinians have drowned since the beginning of this week while trying to retrieve boxes of humanitarian aid that are thrown into the sea for the people of Gaza.

According to Pravda, due to the extensive sea, land and air blockade of Gaza, it is not possible to easily send humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. In this regard, some countries drop their aid into the sea by parachute from the air.

Meanwhile, the innocent people of Gaza, who are affected by the consequences of war and famine, enter the sea to access these aids. It is said that the people who escaped from the bombardment of the Zionist regime die in sea water for food.

Currently, many people of Gaza in the border camps are facing the crisis of famine and hunger. Previous UN reports indicated that the north of the Gaza Strip will face famine from mid-March to May. Also, 70% of the population of 2.3 million people in Gaza are now in extreme hunger.

Samantha Power, director of the United States Agency for International Development, says famine has already gripped northern Gaza.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees considers famine to be a situation in which a significant part of the population of an area does not have access to enough food, resulting in severe malnutrition and the death of people from hunger and disease.

International authorities consider the act of the Zionist regime in Gaza to starve the people as an example of Palestinian genocide.
