Iraqi legal issues expert: Baghdad has the right to expel the American ambassador

The expert on Iraqi legal issues pointed out the interventions of the American ambassador in the internal affairs of this country and Baghdad's right to expel him.

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Maluma, “Ali Jaber Al-Tamimi”, an expert on Iraqi legal issues, emphasized that “Elena Romansky”, the American ambassador in Baghdad, violated international laws regarding this country.

He added: The American ambassador is interfering in Iraq’s internal affairs, which has violated the terms of the agreement signed between Baghdad and Washington.

Al-Tamimi added: Romanski objected to the anti-prostitution law in Iraq, which contradicts provisions one, two and three of the UN Charter and Article 27 of the agreement. It is a strategy signed with the American side in 2008.

He stated: Thus, Iraq has the right to expel the American ambassador from this country based on the Vienna Agreement of 1961, the clause related to establishing diplomatic relations. According to Article 9 of the Vienna Agreement, any country can expel any undesirable ambassador.

Before this, Ibtisam Al-Hilali, the head of the national product faction in the Iraqi parliament, emphasized that the American ambassador in Iraq tried to spread moral deviations and homosexuality in this country. does.

Al-Hilali stated: We must take action against the implementation of these projects in Iraq through legal and diplomatic channels. The actions of the American ambassador are carried out in line with the implementation of this country’s strategy with the support of some western countries.
