Motaghi: Raisi’s role in the development of regional cooperation was valuable

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Amir Khan Motaghi, the foreign minister of the Taliban government, in a meeting with Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s ambassador and special representative, expressed the message of condolence and sympathy of the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan in connection with the helicopter crash and the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his accompanying delegation.

Motaghi called the role and leadership of the President and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran valuable in the development of regional cooperation, especially with Afghanistan.

In addition, Kazemi Qomi, while expressing his gratitude for the message of condolence from the government and people of Afghanistan, stated that the government and people of Iran received the message of condolence from the government and people of Afghanistan in the first moments of the incident.

In the end, Kazemi Qomi considered the relations between the nations and governments of Afghanistan and Iran to be close and stated that he will inform the Afghan side of the last burial ceremony of the martyrs.
