According to the international group Tasnim news agency, the government Maldives will ban the entry of Israelis to this archipelago country in the Indian Ocean due to the increasing public anger of its people against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Office of the President The Maldives announced on Sunday that the cabinet has decided to change the rules to prevent the entry of Israeli passport holders and to create a sub-committee to oversee the process.

Nearly 11,000 Israelis traveled to the Maldives last year. Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Maldives, but Israelis are allowed to travel to this Indian Ocean country.
Maldives had lifted the previous ban on Israeli tourists in the early 1990s.
