Hebrew media’s claim about the downing of a drone near his workplace
Hebrew media claimed on Saturday that the drone that came from Lebanese airspace and was shot down by a warship with the cooperation of the Israeli Air Force (regime) was heading towards the Karish gas field in the Mediterranean Sea.
Israel’s Channel 13 claimed that the downed drone was probably on its way to the gas platforms in its field for reconnaissance operations.
Yediot Aharonot newspaper also claimed that this drone was moving from Lebanon to the platform of its field, while it was not clear whether it was a suicide drone or for reconnaissance.
The Israeli army (regime) announced on Saturday that an Israeli Navy missile ship shot down a drone coming from Lebanon over Israel’s economic waters in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Israeli army announced in a statement: The Israeli Navy’s “Sheit 3” missile launcher, in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force, managed to intercept a drone that had entered Israel’s economic waters from Lebanon.
The Karish oil and natural gas field, which is disputed between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, is located 100 kilometers off the coast of the occupied lands in the Mediterranean Sea, and its proven gas reserves are estimated at 1.3 trillion cubic feet.
