Egypt’s support for Lebanon against the Zionist regime
After Hezbollah was threatened by the Zionist regime, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement, warning of the dangers of creating a new war front in Lebanon and emphasized that any action could turn into a “wide regional war”.
The website of Al-Ahram newspaper in Egypt, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country, reported that Cairo emphasizes on supporting the government and people of Lebanon and preventing any war against this country.
Israeli sources reported yesterday (Saturday) that 11 people were killed and more than 30 people were injured when a rocket hit the Majdal Shams area in the occupied Golan.
These sources immediately pointed the finger of accusation towards Hezbollah in Lebanon after the missile was hit, so that in this way, they could beat the drum of war with Hezbollah.
Hizbollah, however, officially and by publishing a statement, while rejecting the attack on Majdal Shams, emphasized: We categorically deny the claims of some enemy media about the attack on Majdal Shams.
Hezbollah said that the Islamic resistance of Lebanon has nothing to do with this incident. We categorically deny false claims in this regard.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt called on all influential countries in the international community to immediately take action to support the nations of the region against the disastrous consequences of expanding the scope of the war.
Cairo, stating that the expansion of the scope of the war can be a threat to international peace and security, warned against the continuation of Israel’s war (regime) against the Gaza Strip and called for an immediate and inclusive ceasefire that would end the problems of the Gaza Strip and restore the security and lead to stability in the region.
