report Mehr News Agency quoted Shahab, the United Nations agency UNRWA announced that since the beginning of the war against Gaza, more than 70% of the organization’s schools in this strip have been bombed and destroyed by the Zionist regime’s army. or serious damage has been done to it.
UNRWA emphasized that hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees were accommodated in these schools and it is not possible to use them for education.
The Refugee Relief Agency stated: We ask all our employees in Gaza to resume their activities from October 1, 2024.
On the other hand, UNRWA Commissioner Filipe Lazzarini said: All children in the region go to school except for Gaza. More than 600,000 children suffer from deep psychological shock and are still deprived of education.
He added: As long as children stay away from school, there is a risk of ruining a generation. In Gaza, seventy percent of our schools have been destroyed or damaged. Most of them are now full of refugees.
Lazzarini emphasized: establishing a ceasefire is a victory for everyone and gives peace to civilians.
