According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, British Foreign Minister David Cameron met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi and discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan announced in a statement that Al-Safadi and Cameron discussed the disastrous situation in Gaza, the efforts made to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and guarantee the delivery of adequate and immediate humanitarian aid to the Strip. They checked Gaza.
The two sides also emphasized the necessity of adopting measures and mechanisms to ensure the arrival of aid convoys to Gaza to deal with the humanitarian disaster.
According to “Rai El Youm” newspaper, Safadi called the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza necessary and warned about the disastrous humanitarian, security and political consequences of the continuation of the war in Gaza.
He also emphasized Jordan’s firm position against any security interaction with Gaza and its separation from the West Bank, as well as efforts to forcibly relocate Palestinians.
According to the latest statistics of the Gaza Ministry of Health, 19,667 people have been martyred and 52,586 people have been injured during Israeli air and artillery attacks, more than 70% of whom are women. And there are children; Also, thousands of people are still under the rubble.
