Exit patients and injured from Gaza to Egypt

Palestinian sources announced that four injured and patients were transferred from the Gaza Strip to treatment.

reports Mehr News Agency quoted Al -Jazeera, Palestinian sources announced that four injured and patients were transferred from the Gaza Strip to treatment. For the first time since the start of the war against Gaza, four of the wounded and patients of the Gaza Strip were moved out of the area today through the Rafah Passage to receive essential medical treatments.

Algeria reported that ambulances moved these people to Egypt as the first group of Rafah.

Al-Arabiya also reported: After more than eight months of closure, the Rafah crossing on the Gaza Strip and Egypt was reopened on Saturday. With the opening of the passage, a large number of relief vehicles arrived in the area to transport the injured and patients to Egyptian hospitals. According to the provisions of the ceasefire agreement, the Zionist regime will allow two Palestinian patients and two Palestinian wounded daily with their companions.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that patients and their companions will be coordinated with the Egyptian side to prepare the Egyptian side. These people will gather at the Al -Shafa Medical Complex in Gaza and Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yonnes to facilitate their exit process. The Rafah Crossing is reopening in critical situations; Gaza hospitals are facing a severe shortage of medical equipment and an increase in the number of injured.

Al-Arabiya reported: The Rafah Pass has been under Hamas management since year 4, but after the reopening, the mission of “Yubam Rafah” (EU Supervisory Board Rafah Passage), along with Palestinian staff who are not dependent on Hamas, will monitor the passage. However, informed sources that have spoken to the German News Agency have reported that Israel will continue to have limited control over the passage to ensure that no one would pass through the passage without its consent.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Authority has also confirmed that it will be involved in managing the passage. A Palestinian official in the PA announced that it was responsible for managing the passage by the institution.
