Biography
Uthman Bilal was born in the city of Nablus, north of the West Bank. He grew up in an Islamic family. His father had been in Zionist prisons many times since the early 1980s. Her mother was also one of the most influential women in establishing the structure of women in the Islamic Movement in the northwest.

Uthman began his studies in journalism and media at Hebrew University, but the occupiers prevented him from pursuing his studies and forced him to change his field. He eventually studied in the political sciences, but the barriers created by the management of Zionist prisons prevented him from graduating in the field.
However, he was determined to continue his studies and eventually received his bachelor’s degree in history from the Al-Aqsa University in the Gaza Strip.
Uthman Bilal began his anti-Zionist campaign process by joining the martyrs of Abdullah Azzam, which later joined the martyrs of the martyrs of Qasam. After the release, the Zionist militant elements tried to assassinate him. He was injured in the terrorist operation, but was eventually rescued.
Uthman was arrested by the Zionist regime a year later, and a cruel sentence was issued a life imprisonment for planning for martyrdom operations. In addition to Uthman, his brothers were also arrested. Even his mother was arrested twice.

Uthman could only meet with his sister during this time. Her mother has not been able to see her child since moving to Gaza in year 6. During his captivity, Uthman lost his father in year 2 and one of his brothers in year 2. He was in solitary confinement for a long time.
He was finally released from the Zionist regime on February 7 in the seventh round of the prisoners’ exchange between Hamas and the Zionist regime within the first phase of the ceasefire.
