Public Satisfaction with U.S. President Drops to Lowest Level Since His Return to the White House
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, the latest poll conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Reuters reveals that public approval and popularity of U.S. President Donald Trump have fallen to their lowest levels since his return to the White House.
The six-day survey, which concluded yesterday, found that 42% of respondents approved of Trump’s performance, while 53% stated thay did not support his policies.
trump’s approval rating was 43% in the most recent poll, down from 45% in a survey conducted in the second half of March.
The results indicate that many americans are dissatisfied with Trump’s actions against universities he deems overly “liberal.”
In mid-April, the U.S. Department of Education suspended $2.2 billion in financial aid and a long-term $60 million federal contract belonging to Harvard University.
In this poll, 59% of participants said America is losing its global credibility, while three-quarters believe Trump should never run for a third presidential term in 2028.
The survey involved over 4,300 American adults between April 16–21 and has a margin of error of approximately two percentage points.
