U.S. Fighter Jets Target african Migrant Shelter in Yemen, Killing 35 and injuring Dozens Overnight
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah Network, Yemen’s Interior Ministry reported recovering the bodies of 35 African migrants in Saada province after a U.S. airstrike.
The shelter, overseen by the International Association for Migration (IOM) and the Red Cross, was fully leveled in last night’s aerial attacks. Published images show African migrants’ bodies buried under rubble. Yemen’s Saba News Agency (affiliated with the Sanaa government) stated most victims were Ethiopian nationals.
Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen Network warned casualties could exceed 40, as many injured are in critical condition.Al-Masirah added that while 35 bodies have been recovered, nearly 30 remain trapped under debris.
The U.S. launched fresh airstrikes overnight into Monday, targeting Yemen’s Saada, Amran, and Sanaa provinces in support of the Zionist regime.
