The U.S.president stated: “I hope we can reach an agreement with China at some point.We are negotiating with them, but their factories across China are shutting down because we’re not buying their products!”
Donald Trump added: “The tariffs haven’t even started yet. I know that China is performing very poorly right now—we hate to hear it! I recently saw a report about this. I don’t want anything bad to happen to China.I like president Xi very much.”
