The Washington Post’s account of the reason for firing Trump’s national security adviser
American Media Washington Post Presents New Narrative on the Reason for Firing of Trump’s National Security Advisor
According to a report by the English section of “Webangah News Agency“ citing Mehr News Agency, The Washington Post quoted informed sources as stating that the reason for the dismissal of Mike Waltz, the U.S. national security advisor, was his serious disagreements with Donald Trump, the president of his country, regarding how to approach the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Washington Post wrote on this matter: The firing of Mike Waltz, the U.S. national security advisor, was a result of growing frustration with him. Disputes between Waltz and senior officials in his country—particularly concerning military action against Iran—began very early on. Waltz was removed because he had angered Trump over his excessive coordination with Netanyahu (the prime minister of Israel).
The American media outlet added: Before meeting with Trump, Waltz had strong coordination with Netanyahu regarding military options against Iran. Waltz sought to tilt the scales toward military action against Iran alongside Israel.
Following Mike Waltz’s removal as U.S. national security advisor and his deputy by order of President Donald Trump, speculation about potential successors has intensified. Among them, stephen Miller, Trump’s senior political advisor, is being considered as a leading candidate for this position.
