Kremlin Spokesperson describes Meeting Between Russian and U.S. Presidents as Necessary
according to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, stated that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his american counterpart Donald Trump is necessary.
Peskov remarked: “We have previously spoken multiple times about this topic—discussions of a meeting between the leaders of the two countries are circulating in various circles—and we believe such a meeting is undoubtedly essential.”
he added: “This meeting must be appropriately prepared and requires efforts at various levels. Additionally, maintaining ongoing contacts that have already begun remains crucial.”
Peskov emphasized that details regarding the date and location of Putin and Trump’s potential meeting have not yet been finalized. Earlier, Trump claimed he might meet with Putin in Saudi arabia in May.
