According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera and Mehr News Agency, The Telegraph has disclosed that the UK is covertly and confidentially preparing for a potential attack by Russia. This comes amid concerns over Britain’s readiness to face a large-scale conflict.
The report further states that there are calls to update emergency plans drafted 20 years ago, which would place the country on high alert. The UK’s measures in the event of war would include equipping shelters.
The Telegraph also quoted a UK government spokesperson as saying: “We have a robust structure in place and are prepared to respond to emergency challenges.”
