Pakistan Army Announces: 12 Indian Drones Shot down in 2 Days Across Multiple Locations; 25 Israeli-Made Drones Destroyed
Teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters TV, reported that a spokesperson for the Pakistan Army stated in a press conference on Thursday: “Over the past two days, we have shot down 12 drones in various locations, including near Karachi.”
The Pakistani military official added: “We are currently recovering wreckage from Karachi and Lahore. Indian drones continue to violate Pakistan’s airspace… (India) will pay a heavy price for this blatant aggression.”
According to India’s Defense Ministry, its armed forces launched Operation Sindoore in recent days, striking 9 targets inside Pakistani territory. The operation was a response to an April attack on a group of tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists.Relations between the two nuclear-armed nations have deteriorated further since the Pulwama attack.
