CNN Claims Technical Teams Will Not Participate in Fourth Round of Iran-U.S. Talks

according too a report by ‍the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency, CNN quoted an informed source claiming that technical teams will not participate ‌ in ‍the fourth round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the U.S.

The source told CNN, ⁣”It ⁤would have been better if the next round of talks were held at⁣ a higher level.”⁢ Another⁢ source claimed that this round of negotiations is expected to proceed both directly and indirectly!

Seyed⁣ Abbas Araghchi, Deputy⁢ Foreign Minister ⁢of the Islamic Republic of ‌Iran, commented on indirect talks between‌ Iran and ‌the U.S., stating: ⁣ “The timing and location of negotiations‌ are steadfast by the host country—Oman. Our Omani friends inquired about Sunday, and we expressed our agreement. Apparently, they have also communicated⁣ with the other side, so far it is scheduled for Sunday. Regarding the start time, we await coordination by⁢ Oman.”

He added: “Negotiations‌ are progressing forward naturally; as we advance further consultations and‍ deeper evaluations become necessary—delegations need more time to review discussed matters. What’s important is that we ‌are ⁣moving forward step by step toward addressing details.”

Araghchi emphasized: “Our positions in these talks are principled with clear foundations—thus unchangeable—and we adhere strictly to these principles. Though,” he acknowledged, “we⁢ receive ⁢contradictory messages from counterparts; different individuals make conflicting statements—sometimes even retracting their ⁣own words within days. Some attribute this inconsistency to America’s new⁣ governance still settling in or‌ lacking defined stances; others interpret it as negotiation tactics.”

Iran’s⁤ Deputy Foreign‍ Minister stressed: “Regardless, we remain steadfast. Our path is clear—where Iranian interests align with progress, we move ahead; otherwise, resistance follows.* We do not dwell⁤ excessively on contradictory remarks but stay ⁣focused on advancing our course.”
