Moscow: Chance of returning 1+5 to Iran nuclear talks is very low
Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister told reporters: The chance of reviving the P5+1 in Iran nuclear talks is very low.
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency” citing mehr News Agency and TASS,Sergei Ryabkov,Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister,stated on Tuesday that the likelihood of restoring the P5+1 negotiating group—comprising the five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany—to discussions on Iran’s nuclear program is very low.
The Russian deputy foreign minister further emphasized: “The probability of this happening is minimal. I do not believe this framework will be revived in the near future.”
Ryabkov stressed: “We are closely monitoring developments in talks between Iran and the U.S. We stand ready to assist these discussions in any way possible. The parties are well aware of our willingness.”
