Putin: Russia is China’s Primary Partner in Peaceful Nuclear Energy

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is China’s main partner in the field of peaceful nuclear energy and that Moscow emphasizes deepening cooperation with Beijing in this sector. Putin also predicted a new record in trade volume between the two countries by the end of 2026.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Wednesday during a meeting with Ding Xuexiang, the Deputy Prime Minister of China, that his recent meeting with Xi Jinping in Bishkek was substantive and cordial. Putin highlighted that Moscow is China’s primary partner in the realm of peaceful nuclear energy, describing the level of relations between Moscow and Beijing as unprecedented. The Russian President emphasized Moscow’s commitment to deepening cooperation with China in the energy sector.

Putin further added that the relations between Russia and China are dynamically developing in all areas based on the principles of mutual support. It is anticipated that by the results of 2026, a new record will be set in the trade volume between Russia and China.
