Netanyahu Vows Continued Occupation of Gaza, Claims Control of 60% of Territory

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip will continue, claiming that Israel controls 60% of the territory and that Israeli forces will remain along the current demarcation line.
During a visit to an Israeli military post inside Gaza, accompanied by senior military commanders, Netanyahu stated, “We control this area. We are not withdrawing. We are staying along this line.”
He further claimed, “The head of Hamas intelligence was arrested yesterday, and we will certainly obtain information.”
Netanyahu added that Israel’s objectives remain the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza, noting that there is still work to be done to achieve these goals.
