Islamic Jihad missile attack on Zionist settlements in Gaza envelope
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, the missile units of the Al-Quds Brigades—the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement—announced that they had carried out missile attacks on settlements in the Gaza envelope region.
The brigades emphasized that last night they targeted the cities of Ashdod, Ashkelon, Sderot, and surrounding settlements in the Gaza envelope with rocket attacks.
The Al-Quds Brigades stated that these attacks where carried out in response to the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime against the palestinian peopel.
The Palestinian resistance’s missile strikes on occupied territories continue as the Zionist regime claims to have destroyed resistance groups’ missile capabilities and seeks to completely eliminate their human elements. Despite 19 months of occupation and Zionist military operations in Gaza, resistance groups continue their anti-Zionist operations at various levels.
The forces of Hamas’s military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, also reported yesterday clashes between their fighters and soldiers from the Zionist regime’s engineering battalion. In these clashes, a Zionist military vehicle was destroyed.
According to Hamas’s statement, this operation took place in Shejaiya town east of Gaza City.
On Monday, the al-Quds Brigades also announced shooting down a “Super Heron” drone belonging to the Zionist regime while it was patrolling Gaza City’s airspace.
