Hamas: Our nation will no longer accept misery resistance is the path to victory
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and the Information Center, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated in its declaration commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Nakba that while honoring Palestinian martyrs, it stressed: The Palestinian people will never permit another catastrophe or forced displacement to recur. The only path to liberation from occupation and achieving freedom and return is through popular alignment with resistance.
The statement noted: “This anniversary arrives as, over the past two years, the Zionist regime has waged a genocidal war in gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, committing horrific crimes against over two million Palestinians in Gaza.Yet our nation’s heroic resistance and legendary steadfastness have thwarted all enemy plots.”
Hamas paid tribute to Palestinian martyrs—notably those of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood—and underscored that their blood serves as a guiding light for free nations worldwide and as capital for continuing Palestine’s struggle.
The movement emphasized:
First: No legitimacy or sovereignty exists for occupiers over any part of our occupied land. Our people will defend their land through complete resistance until full liberation is achieved—establishing an self-reliant state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Second:A call for national unity under shared struggle strategy encompassing all factions is urgent amid existential challenges facing our cause. Leveraging mass support for resistance alongside global solidarity—evident during Operation Al-aqsa Flood—is imperative.
