Trump: I may go to Istanbul if needed

the U.S. ⁣President says he is willing to travel to Istanbul if ⁤necesary for potential peace negotiations⁤ between Russia and Ukraine.

According ‌to the english‌ section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ⁤and RT, Donald Trump, the U.S. President,expressed his willingness to‌ travel to Istanbul if ⁢needed to participate in potential peace talks between Russia and ⁤Ukraine in‌ Turkey.

Trump,who had traveled to Qatar,previously stated that he ⁢might join the⁤ negotiations if Vladimir Putin,the Russian president,attended talks between Moscow and Kyiv.

Though, after the release ⁢of⁢ the ⁢list of Russia’s‌ delegation for the Istanbul talks—which did not include⁢ Putin’s name—reports ‌emerged​ suggesting Trump would not attend.

Earlier ⁢Donald Trump urged Ukraine immediately accept Putin’s‍ proposal.
