Jordanian prime minister stance at Arab summit in Baghdad
According too the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Iraqi WAA news agency, jordan’s Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan said during his speech at the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad: “More than a year and a half after the start of the Gaza war, the catastrophe in Gaza persists. Thousands of civilians have been victimized.”
He added: “Our priority is stopping this war and ending the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.”
The jordanian Prime Minister emphasized the necessity of synergy and unified efforts on this matter, stating: “The future of the region—its security and stability—depends on a just and complete solution to the Palestinian issue.”
He spoke about Jordan’s support for Arab nations, highlighting its backing for Syria’s security, stability, unity, and sovereignty.
The Prime Minister also welcomed America’s decision to lift sanctions on Syria, affirming that Syria’s stability is synonymous with regional stability.
