The EU’s foreign policy chief described the bloc’s decision to lift sanctions on Syria—following the rise of Joulani-affiliated terrorists—as being framed as “aid for reconstruction.”
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, Josep Borrell, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, announced on Tuesday that the bloc has decided to fully lift economic sanctions against Syria.
