Tel Aviv agrees to US proposal on Gaza

Zionist regime’s prime minister’s office ‌claims Israel has accepted a US proposal regarding the Gaza war.

According to webangah News Agency, citing reports from Spuntik via Mehr News Agency, the Zionist regime announced it’s acceptance of a US proposal concerning the Gaza⁣ conflict.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office stated that ⁤Israel ⁤has agreed to Brett McGurk’s proposal, though Hamas has so far rejected⁣ it.

A statement from Benjamin Netanyahu’s office‍ revealed⁢ that the prime minister recalled senior members of Israel’s negotiating‍ team⁣ from Doha, Qatar, amid stalled prisoner exchange talks. This decision followed⁢ a week of ⁣”intensive” negotiations ‌that failed to⁤ yield tangible progress toward an ‌agreement with Hamas.

The ⁤office clarified that ‌some delegation members would⁢ temporarily remain ⁤in Doha while senior officials return to Israel for consultations.

The statement ⁤emphasized that Israel accepted Washington’s prisoner release proposal⁢ based on a ⁣framework prepared by Brett McGurk, the US Special⁣ Envoy for Middle East Affairs.

The US-proposed framework ‌includes a temporary ceasefire in exchange for the ‌release of approximately⁣ half of⁣ living prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza. Netanyahu’s office stressed that Hamas continues rejecting this mediator-backed offer.

Hamas ⁣officials have repeatedly stated they would release ⁣all captives only under conditions ⁣of⁢ a complete war cessation and full withdrawal of zionist ⁣forces ⁣from Gaza. However, Netanyahu insists on securing⁣ only a temporary hostage⁣ deal while continuing military operations against Palestinians in Gaza.
