Has Trump sent a message to Iran
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has denied allegations that Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein conveyed a message from US President Donald Trump to Iranian leaders, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
In an official statement, the ministry said it became aware of a fabricated report titled “Trump gave Iran two weeks to withdraw its militia forces from Iraq,” which recently appeared on a website and was later circulated by some news networks.
The ministry stated the false report claimed Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein had delivered Trump’s message regarding the issues mentioned in the headline to Iranian leaders.
The statement emphasized: “The iraqi Foreign Ministry confirms these claims lack any official sources and represent unprofessional media behavior aimed at spreading misinformation while deliberately attempting to damage Iraq’s reputation by negatively influencing public opinion.”
The ministry further stressed that official statements from the Iraqi government and Foreign Ministry remain the only reliable source for data about Iraq’s foreign policy.
