Southern Lebanon residents defy occupier aggression with strong election turnout
webangah news Agency reports that Lebanese Parliament member Hassan Fadlallah, in an interview with Al Mayadeen network, stressed that despite Zionist regime aggressions, residents of southern Lebanon continue to participate in the country’s municipal adn city council elections.
He added: “The political message behind this participation is their unwavering commitment to their land. On Resistance Day, we honor the martyr of the nation and leader of resistance martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”
Fadlallah further stated: “Lebanese fighters in southern villages,inspired by this martyr’s blood,have prevented the enemy from achieving its objectives.”
The MP noted: “The government currently bears major responsibilities including liberating occupied territories, securing prisoner releases, and reconstructing war-torn areas.”
