Lavrov Current events in Gaza and West Bank are unacceptable
According to webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday that the second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine will likely be held in Istanbul.
Lavrov thanked Ankara for its efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine crisis and added: “We may again turn to our friends in Turkey for hosting the second round of negotiations.istanbul was truly excellent.”
Emphasizing Moscow and Ankara’s aligned stance on Palestine, Lavrov called the ongoing developments in Gaza and the West Bank “unacceptable.”
He also addressed Syria, stating: “We need intensive consultations regarding Syria. We reaffirm our commitment to preserving Syria’s territorial integrity and political unity.”
