Fidan: Erdogan in Contact with Presidents of Ukraine and Russia

According to webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed hope on Monday that the Russia-Ukraine ‍talks in Istanbul would yield positive ⁤results.

The minister further emphasized Turkey’s readiness to ⁣provide necessary assistance in resolving the Ukraine conflict. He noted that President Erdoğan remains engaged with both Russian President Vladimir Putin⁣ and Ukrainian ⁢President Volodymyr zelenskyy to ⁤facilitate a resolution. The delegations from Russia and Ukraine will focus on humanitarian progress-particularly ​prisoner exchanges-and preliminary discussions for a potential leaders’ summit.

Fidan added that prioritizing a resolution to the Ukraine crisis could create new opportunities for diplomacy.
