US Blocks UN Security Council Resolution on Gaza
US veto at UN Security Council blocks yet another resolution on Gaza Strip.
The United States has again prevented the adoption of a UN Security Council resolution concerning the Gaza strip by exercising its veto power, according too webangah News Agency.
The report indicates that all 14 other Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution,but the US stood alone in opposition,using its veto to halt its passage.
The proposed resolution sought to increase pressure for a ceasefire amid escalating attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
