Barzani Sends Congratulatory Message: “We Place Special Importance on Relations with Tehran
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, extended separate congratulatory messages to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Dr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi, and the honorable people of Iran on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In his message addressed to President Pezeshkian, Barzani wrote: “I sincerely congratulate you on this blessed occasion. I pray to Almighty God that this auspicious Eid brings joy, peace, and stability to you, your esteemed family, and the kind and noble nation of Iran.”
The Kurdish leader further emphasized: ”In the Kurdistan Region, we consistently attach great importance to our relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. On this blessed occasion-based on shared interests-we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral ties in all fields.”
