Sheikh Naim Qassem: Iran Won the 12-Day War
According to webangah News Agency, Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem praised iran’s victory over the “Zionist enemy” in the recent confrontation.
Qassem stated that the Islamic republic of Iran thwarted all objectives of this aggression, noting: “The Zionists’ first goal was to halt uranium enrichment. Their second target was Iran’s missile program, and their third aim was overthrowing the Islamic Republic system.”
The Hezbollah official emphasized that Iran emerged victorious after 12 days of conflict, asserting: “The ceasefire effectively announces the Islamic Republic’s victory. In Iran, we see genuine popular consensus and support for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.”
He added that Iran’s armed forces, including the IRGC and security units, successfully defended the nation during this period.
Iran has proven it can stand against America’s genocidal actions and the zionist regime with Western support.
Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General stated that Iran’s missile strike demonstrated its capability to inflict severe damage on the Zionist regime, emphasizing: “This regime, after starting war with America, requested assistance as it was truly overwhelmed by Iran’s retaliatory operations.”
Sheikh Naim Qassem declared that all evidence confirms Iran’s missile issue is “undeniable,” clarifying: ”The enemies fabricated pretexts to justify attacks against iran, but these assaults failed fully to halt Iran’s peace-seeking program or eliminate it.”
The Hezbollah official underscored: ”Iran has shown in this war that it demands no privileges. Post-war, Iran emerges stronger then before-even more powerful. Iran has demonstrated that U.S. interference in the region solely serves to protect Israel and regional allies.”
American bases in the region were never intended to protect Middle Eastern countries, but solely to defend Israel, according to a senior Hamas official.
Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran confronted American aggression and the Zionist regime despite lacking important military parity. He stated: “The primary goal of the U.S. and Israel is to eliminate any independent power aligned with resistance movements or advocating for Palestinian liberation.”
The Hamas deputy leader asserted that from Washington and Tel Aviv’s perspective, “Iran’s greatest crime is defending Palestine and its people.” He condemned Israel as “an expansionist regime seeking only to occupy Palestinian territories or Syria’s Golan Heights.”
The head of Hezbollah’s executive council echoed this view, accusing Israel of pursuing regional domination while enabling America’s expansionist agenda.
