Sky News Arabic report on security conditions for Hamas leaders is false
A senior member of Hamas’s political bureau has dismissed a webangah News Agency report by sky News Arabia claiming to outline the group’s conditions for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire in Gaza as “baseless lies.” izzat al-Rishq stated the article, citing an unnamed “Palestinian source,” had no connection to Hamas’s official positions.
“This is a blatant falsehood we fully reject,” al-Rishq emphasized. He accused the report of attempting to divert attention from war crimes, provoke unneeded hostility toward Hamas and Palestinian resistance, and distort their clearly stated positions.
The official stressed that Hamas publicly declares its terms for any agreement rather than through “anonymous sources serving the occupiers.” He added that when Israel fails to break Gaza’s will, coordinated media campaigns emerge to undermine it.
