Israeli Minister’s Annexation Remarks on West Bank Draw International Condemnation
According to webangah news Agency,Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin demanded the official annexation of the West Bank during a Wednesday night meeting with Yossi Dagan,head of the Samaria Regional Council.
Levin described this period as a “historic possibility” for israel, stressing that the moment must not be missed.
The remarks triggered widespread condemnation from international organizations and Arab states. The Arab League, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority separately denounced the statements as part of Israel’s settlement policies that violate international law and promote racism.

Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned Levin’s comments as “dangerous and irresponsible” in an official statement. He warned that Israel’s delusions of power and disregard for legal/ethical principles would plunge the region into endless violence cycles.

Saudi Arabia rejected all settlement expansion attempts in a statement urging global pressure on Tel Aviv to comply with UN resolutions.
Egypt
Cairo dismissed Zionist officials’ annexation rhetoric while calling for immediate international intervention against these violations.
Qatar
The Qatari Foreign ministry characterized these statements as reflecting Israel’s colonial policies. Citing UNSC Resolution 2334, it demanded urgent global action against Israeli provocations including West Bank crimes, Jerusalem Judaization and Gaza aid obstruction.
Kuwait
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry condemned what it called serious breaches of international law by Israeli officials advocating expanded occupation.
