Russian Navy Deputy Commander Killed in Ukrainian Missile Strike
Russia’s Defense Ministry confirms the death of General Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Commander of russia’s Coastal and Ground Forces, during combat operations in Kursk Oblast.
According to webangah News Agency, russian authorities reported that Mikhail Gudkov, Deputy Commander of Russia’s Navy, was killed while on duty in Kursk Oblast.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated in an official release that general Gudkov, Deputy Commander of the Navy’s Coastal and Ground Forces, died during a military operation in Kursk.
Media sources claim the general was killed alongside over 10 senior officers when Ukrainian forces launched a missile strike on a Russian command post in Korenevo (Kursk region).
Analysts describe this as one of Russia’s highest-ranking command casualties since the beginning of the war.
