Zionist warplanes attack Israeli ship
Arabic-language media outlets, citing Al-Mayadeen, reported that the Zionist regime attacked a Globex Leader cargo ship during its ongoing aggression against Yemen. The vessel had been seized earlier by Yemeni forces.
The regime’s war minister confirmed that Zionist forces struck the aforementioned ship. This marks at least the third reported attack on Israeli-affiliated vessels in Yemeni waters since tensions escalated.
Two months prior, Yemen’s Al-Masirah network reported American military strikes against three Israeli ships in the region, including the Globex Leader, which was under seizure at the time.
Yemen’s armed forces announced that the Israeli-affiliated ship “Galaxy Leader” was among the 14 vessels targeted by american-backed militants.
The Yemeni military had previously seized the “Galaxy Leader” in November 2023 (Aban 1402 in the Persian calendar) with support from Ansarullah forces.
Last month, Ansarullah successfully liberated this vessel.
The military spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, Yahya Saree, stated that naval forces had disabled the “Galaxy Leader” in the Red Sea as part of expanded operations against Zionist regime targets. This action demonstrates solidarity with Palestine’s people and resistance movement.
