Hamas Warns of Renewed Israeli Plans to Expel Gazans

Hamas has issued a stark warning, asserting that the Israeli regime has not abandoned its plans to forcibly expel the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip, labeling intensified rhetoric from Israeli ministers on the matter as a dangerous development.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas official Hazem Qassem stated that the increasing pronouncements from Israeli ministers supporting plans to expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip represent a highly dangerous development. He indicated that the occupying regime has not relinquished these intentions and is actively seeking to reintroduce and promote them to serve its political and electoral calculations.

Qassem elaborated that these statements illuminate the reasons behind the ongoing Israeli war against Gaza, the intensification of the blockade, the policies of starvation and deprivation, and the obstruction of reconstruction efforts and the entry of essential medical supplies and equipment. He asserted that these actions are designed to impose severe humanitarian and living conditions, pushing towards the implementation of forced displacement plans.

The Hamas spokesperson urged Arab and Islamic nations to take serious and unified action to counter these plans, adopting effective stances and measures to thwart them. He emphasized that these schemes pose a direct threat not only to the Palestinian cause but also to the national security of Arab and Islamic countries.

Qassem concluded by stressing that a unified, decisive, and coordinated stance from Arab and Islamic nations could effectively block the occupying regime’s schemes to displace the Palestinian people from their land.

In a related development, Bassim Naim, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, highlighted the strategic failure of the Israeli regime and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Gaza. He stated that Netanyahu and his army have consistently failed to achieve the picture of absolute victory they have been planning and promising their society for three years—a victory characterized by the image of a Palestinian fighter stripped, humiliated, and with hands bound.

Naim concluded, “Netanyahu will end up in the dustbin of history, but our nation and our resistance will remain until victory and freedom, because resistance is a spirit that flows through us from generation to generation.”
